The Sunday before the last round of the Central Coast District Championship (which he won 7 from 7) David played i8n the NSW (state) Rapid Championship
Time control : 20 minutes each with 10 seconds increment
this was round 7 - the final round
David drew with Subramanian Singaram(1970) and John Papantoniou (1767) in rounds 3 & 4 while losing to Peter Abbott(1917) in round 5 - both Subra and Peter finished on 5.5 from 7 while David finished on 5 points.
