The Knight move is probably better since it completely stops white's idea of that attack, it also attacks the true basis of white's attack along the diagonal - the Bishop.
While the pawn move slightly weakens the pawns, black has to be concerned of Ng5 piling pressure on the h7 square (note the knight is OK there since white's black-squared Bishop protects it from any discovered attack by the Queen. also worth considering was ...Re8 |
