This position (with black to move) is from a Russian tournament ( 3rd round ) in June 2010, the position seen struck an onlooker with the idea that there was a forced mate in two moves ! - a move from black, a reply from white and then followed by a checkmating move by black. and no matter what white does, mate will still happen - thus forced mate.

sadly it was a mirage - but players have to look for these things - and then check them !
